Material Management
A Master Data Solution is a comprehensive approach to manage and maintain accurate, consistent, and reliable data across an organization’s systems and processes. It involves implementing tools, processes, and governance to ensure that master data (such as equipment, materials, vendors, and customers) is kept up-to-date and standardized across all relevant systems.
MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) Data Services specifically focus on managing and optimizing data related to maintenance activities. This includes data related to spare parts, equipment maintenance history, maintenance procedures, maintenance schedules, and vendor information.
De-Duplication is the process of identifying and eliminating duplicate records or entries in a database. It helps improve data quality, reduce redundancy, and prevent errors caused by having multiple versions of the same data.
Plant Maintenance refers to the overall management of maintenance activities in an industrial plant or facility. It involves planning and executing maintenance tasks, managing work orders, tracking equipment performance, and ensuring that the plant operates efficiently and safely.
Asset Verification is the process of physically verifying the existence and condition of assets in a facility. It involves conducting on-site inspections to confirm that the assets listed in the records actually exist and are in the stated condition.
Bill of Materials (BOM) is a comprehensive list of all components, parts, and materials required to assemble or manufacture a product or equipment. In the context of maintenance, BOMs are used to identify the spare parts and components needed for equipment repair and maintenance tasks.
SPIR stands for Spare Parts Interchangeability Record. It is a document that lists alternative spare parts that can be used interchangeably for a specific piece of equipment. SPIR helps identify suitable replacements for spare parts that might be unavailable or out of stock.
Physical Verification is a process of physically counting and verifying the inventory or assets in a facility to ensure accuracy and completeness. It is often carried out periodically to reconcile physical counts with recorded data in the system.
